Twin-Stick Shoot ‘Em Up ‘Raiden NOVA’ Gets ESRB Rating for Switch
The Switch already has a massive library of shooter games, and it looks like another one will be launching in the West in the near future.
EQUAL marked by Gematsua conversion review for Raiden NOVA has been spotted on the ESRB. This game was previously confirmed for a October 2024 released in Japan. According to this latest update, the local version will be published by UFO Interactive Games.
As for the game’s rating, it’s ‘E’ for everyone and contains fantasy violence. Here’s the full summary:
“This is a space shooter where the player controls a small spaceship that continuously shoots through levels of enemies and bosses. In a top-down, vertically scrolling perspective, the player fires lasers, bullets, and bombs to defeat enemies. The action is fast-paced, with frequent lighting and bomb effects leading to large, screen-shaking explosions. Boss battles involve longer fights, with larger enemies and dozens of bullets flying across the screen.”
