‘U Guessed It’ Rapper OG Maco’s family speaks out after his death


OG Maco took hip hop listeners’ breath away when he released ‘U Guessed It’ in 2014. Ten years later, rapper passed away at a hospital in Los Angeles. According to TMZHe was surrounded by his family during the transfer on December 27. He is 32 years old.

OG Maco was first admitted to the hospital earlier this month. At that time, he suffered a gunshot wound to the head that left him in critical condition. On December 16, his family said he is receiving “the best care possible.”

The cause of his death has not yet been revealed. However, TMZ reported that Maco’s neighbors called 911 after hearing gunshots nearby. A gun was reportedly recovered near the rapper’s body after authorities discovered him. No further details about his death have been released.

The rapper’s family spoke up

As news of OG Maco’s death began to spread, his family confirmed he had passed away. a social media release. The family opened the press release by saying the death of Maco, whose real name was Benedict Chiajulam Ihesiba Jr., was “heartbreaking.”

“His life is a testament to resilience, creativity and boundless love. Through his music, passion and steadfast spirit, he touched so many lives and left a lasting impact,” the statement said. “While he grieves this devastating loss, we also honor the extraordinary life he lived – a life that will continue to inspire and uplift others. Maco’s influence, both as an artist and as a person, will forever be engraved in our hearts.”

His family requests that anyone who wishes to reach out do so through the rapper’s official Instagram account. Additionally, they thanked his fans, friends and supporters who stood by him. “Today, we celebrate a life that has been extraordinary in every way,” concluding statement.
