UN condemns deadly suicide attack on Somali beach
The Al-Shabaab terrorist group is believed to have claimed responsibility for the attack, which occurred late on Friday night (local time) and included a suicide bombing followed by a gun battle between militants and security forces.
At least 37 people were killed and more than 200 injured, some in critical condition, media reports said.

Friday night’s attack was one of the deadliest in the country since October 2022 bombing in Mogadishu killing more than 120 people and injuring more than 300.
