Among the many features we support on PC, here are some of the key highlights:
Full DualSense controller support
Like the PS5 console version, we’re bringing the power of the DualSense controller directly to PC. You’ll be able to experience haptic feedback, feel the heartbeat of your characters during intense Don’t Move sequences. Adaptive triggers let you feel the weight of your choices and experience lifelike resistance when pulling the trigger.
Upgrade with NVIDIA DLSS 3 & AMD FSR 3
We use both NVIDIA and AMD technology to bring you the latest in cutting-edge upgrade technology.
With NVIDIA, the game supports DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) 3.7; their AI-based upscaling that boosts graphics performance and frame rates on GeForce RTX GPUs while maintaining image quality. We’ve also included Frame Generation (on supported RTX GPUs) for a smoother experience and NVIDIA Reflex to help reduce latency.
With AMD, we’ve included the latest version of FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR): 3.1 – their upscaling technology designed to run on virtually any hardware. Oh, and if that’s not good enough: we’ve also included FSR’s Frame Generation technology.
Ultra wide aspect ratio
Playing Until Dawn on ultrawide is a pretty cool experience and it’s something we wanted to do from the start. You can run it on ultrawide with aspect ratios of 21:9, 32:9, and more.
For those who don’t want to use the game’s new 23.9:1 cinematic aspect ratio, you can also play in its original 16:9 aspect ratio. Or, if you want Actually configuration, we allow you to run it in “Free” aspect ratio mode.
Ray tracing support
If you have supported hardware, Until Dawn is built with a carefully curated set of ray tracing features, such as shadows, reflections, and Ambient Occlusion.
Frame rate unlocked
One of the great reasons to play on PC is the sheer power of the hardware you can run it on. For those of you with a monitor (and machine) capable of displaying high frame rates: you can play at whatever frame rate your machine can support.
In addition to these features, we support many other peripherals besides the DualSense controller. We also support Steam Input, so you can customize it to your liking.
Pre-order Until Dawn now and be among the first to experience this reimagined and enhanced classic on PC and PS5 when it launches October 4, 2024*.
