US Storm Delays Wario ‘Antonblast’ Land-Inspired Platform

Explosive fast-paced action platformer Antonblast was due to be available on the Switch eShop next month, but its release has now been delayed until December 3, 2024 due to Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

According to Summitsphere studio head and Antonblast director Tony Grayson, the storms “directly and indirectly” affected many team members, who have “roots throughout the southeastern United States”. Luckily, everyone is safe.

To make up for the delay, a new ‘One Blast Demo’ will be made available during Steam’s ‘Next Festival’ next week – with a “Completely Refurbished Boiler City”, “Sewers” Slowroast like never before” and some other surprises.

As noted above, ‘One Blast Demo’ will hopefully be released as an update for Switch owners in the “coming weeks”. You can also download the current demo from the Switch eShop. If we hear any other updates on Antonblast, we’ll let you know.
