Uzumaki Commemorative Products Celebrate Japanese Culture
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Ito Junji’s debut Uzumaki The manga has ended, ShoPro Mall will start selling goods based on its disturbing characters and worldview. All items are traditional Japanese cultural products and can be purchased online.
There will be two waves of merchandise. The first wave will feature Japanese cultural items that you will use or see during the summer. The second wave will launch in the winter and we will see more information about it later this year. Here is the list of items and their prices:
- Chopsticks and holder: 4950 Yen
- Rug: 6500 yen
- Fan: 7500 yen
- Vertical case: 6800 yen
As mentioned earlier, all goods have their own peculiar art. Uzumaki. For example, the chopstick holder has a spiral shape and Azami’s half-eaten face. The fan does the same. Note that the holder’s case can be used as a mosquito coil holder. However, if you don’t live in Japan, you may not need it to display a vase or hold stationery.
Uzumaki is a horror manga series that depicts the fictional city of Kurouzu. There is a curse on Kurouzu that causes people to become paranoid about spirals and misfortunes that befall them. It is one of Ito’s most well-received works and will also have an anime adaptation. September 28, 2024.
