Video: First Sega Revival Projects gameplay leaked online
Looks like there have been some more gameplay leaks Sega’s Legacy Revival Projects. This information comes from a former leaker known as ‘Midori’. According to the source, the footage shown is still “early” in each game’s development cycle.
First, let’s consider Crazy Taxi reboot, showing multiple vehicles speeding around the game world taking passengers to their destination. The footage is said to be from “2022”, with the claim that this particular game may still be years away from release.
Previous reports suggested that this new entry in the series would be a “multiplayer driving game”. Sega also shared a description of the new Crazy Taxi game in official document:
Crazy Taxi: “New and innovative driving style! A sense of fun freedom x A fusion of nature and city. Discover the new phase of Crazy City!”
Next is clearly a “first version” of Shinobishows the game’s opening cinematic and a short gameplay sequence. This particular title is said to be powered by Lizardcube (Streets of Rage 4).
Shinobi: “Kill enemies in the silence of the moment. Run through the Shinobi world filled with monsters and ninja action. Take up Oborozuki, the legendary sword, and destroy evil once again. Your family and the world are counting on you.”
Again, what you see in the video above is just “very early” development footage, so it doesn’t necessarily reflect the final product.
Sega officially announced that it will be recreating five classic IPs including Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, Golden Axe, Shinobi And Street Rage late last year. Some further news is suggested. Even more long-standing franchises could be revived..
These latest leaks follow leaked footage of the new version Jet Set Radio Remake Project June 2024.
