Watch the New Identity V x Persona 5 Royal Crossover Video
Ahead of the event being rescheduled to August 2, 2024, NetEase Games has released a new promotional video for Identity V And Persona 5: Royal cross-collaboration. The company also released a summary of the essences that will be available at the event.
The event, which originally took place in 2019, featured survivor skins based on Joker, Ann, Ryuji, and Yusuke. The second part of the event then featured another set of skins based on Akechi, Haru, Futaba, and Makoto. This time, the two sets will be available simultaneously. The new promotional video is in the style of the previous onesbut has all eight features Persona 5 Royal character in family Identity V forms.
The skins will be available through the Essence gacha system, with some portraits and a pet Morgana also available through in-game activities. Every six draws of these Essences will reward players with a Soul of Resistance item in the mail. These items can be collected and used to level up skins and unlock the character’s Phantom Thief outfit.

In early July 2024, Netease announced that we will see Character 5 Royal crossover event return Identity V giving players a second chance to get the skin. Meanwhile, Atlus has also just announced a new line of Character 5– Themed hot sauce and coffee Made in partnership with Jade City Foods.
