What are you playing this weekend? (October 12)
Jim Norman, Office Clerk
Did I finish reading Zelda last weekend? I was fucked! Instead of polishing off the final dungeon, I rekindled my love of worm-based strategy with the brilliance of Digital Eclipse. Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition. I’ll do my best to resolve it this weekend and get back to Hylian business… maybe.
In another place, I return to the person I love Astro Bot and rescue a few more cute girls. God, What a great game!

This weekend I’ll have a few reviews on the go [REDACTED], [REDACTED]And [REDACTED]so expect those very soon.
However, if I could find the time, I would sink a few more hours into this wonderful life. Silent Hill 2 remake from Bloober Team. I can’t believe this game actually exists and is this good. It’s incredibly faithful while improving the core experience in all the right ways.
On Switch, I played quite a bit Super Smash Bros. Ultimate lately so I might try to sneak in a few matches here and there if I can.

I won’t play anything this weekend. NOTHING! Are not. Zilch. Nada. The reason is that my birthday is approaching and my new music album, which will be released on the same day, is not ready yet. That’s right, it’s time! Don’t dangle any Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom cartridges before my eyes or anything else that might take me away from my musical path. At least falling asleep won’t be a problem, because…
The “game” of the week is Alarmo. There better be some F-Zero/StarFox/Metroid updates soon. I also wouldn’t be opposed to waking up to Fire Emblem’s main vocal theme. For now, Dai Tien… “thinking” is enough.

This weekend is CANADIAN THANKSGIVINGS, but I won’t let that stop me from trying desperately to squeeze a little more joy out of Echoes of Wisdom (in case you couldn’t tell, I don’t like it). . I am also in a state of euphoria with metroidbrainia (subtle connection for My characterization of “genre”of course), and finally completed witnessI’m looking for more games with the same theme. Maybe Outer Wilds DLC?
Oh, and working on my brand new game writing gig. I can’t tell you what it is, but I’m SO excited…

I really need to buckle down and finish off Zelda. I’m having fun walking around, pushing back fog and revealing the entire map while collecting echoes, but I need to start checking some dungeons off the list. If not, I’m eager to break in natsu-mon and polish World of Goo 2 And Wormhole cans. Reality? With the bathroom taps needing replacing, the curtains needing hanging and the boiler needing fixing, I’ll just play one of these games. Didn’t they invent a sleep substitute in pill form? That should help me clear some of the damage to the backlog. Caffeine doesn’t cut it.
Have fun everyone.

I recently started Little Nightmares II like a little palette cleanser from me Metaphor: ReFantazio permanent. Honestly, I can’t believe it took me this long to pick up this spooky platformer, especially since I’m a huge fan of the first game. For some reason, I mistakenly thought the sequel was co-op, and that idea disappointed me. But I was wrong! Little Nightmares II is a spooky little adventure through a hauntingly beautiful world.
Oh, and if I can convince a friend, I might jump in The monster hunter rises also. Anyway, happy gaming everyone!
That’s what we have planned for the weekend, what about you? Let us know in the poll below which games you plan to launch in the next few days.
