What will you play this weekend? (June 1)

Jim Norman, Office Clerk

I transferred the credit in Animal well This week means I only have about 97% of the game left to complete. I plan to explore a bit this weekend and see how many times I can mutter to myself “Wait, how long have I been able to do this?” that thing?”

I’m also really dying to play some games Astro’s playroom ABOVE other control panel. Even though it’s been there since I got the PS5, I’ve never touched it. Maybe I should fix that, right?

I was pulled back into the world of danganronpaso i played Activate Happy Havoc again. I’m looking to buy a PS Vita, so I’ve been scouring eBay quite a bit lately. I had fond memories of playing Danganronpa on my original Vita during my lunch break at work, and I was annoyed with myself for getting rid of it. Stooping.

Elsewhere, I finally bought God of war Ragnarok on PS5. I don’t know why I’ve been putting it off for so long, but my god, it’s been really good so far. The battle was climactic and I really loved Ryan Hurst’s performance as Thor.

Last Christmas I received it NieR Automata: End of YoRHa versionand I’m embarrassed to say that I only recently started playing it. Naturally I went straight for Hard difficulty and anyone who knows the game will know that was probably a mistake. After about an hour of trying, I decided that ‘Normal’ was fine.

So I’m going to play that this weekend. That and some at night (good game).

After dipping it back in Tears of the Kingdom Last weekend, I’m now busy in the skies above Faron. I also can’t wait to go back Valentia’s shadowand surrounding conversation Hades II in the past month I have wanted to go back original and escape Ol’ Man a few more times. If I remember correctly, I only defeated him twice, so there was a lot of work to do to get the proper ending.

I’ve also (fingers crossed) been trying to get myself a free PS4 from a relative, so I’m compiling a shortlist of exclusive last-gen PlayStation games to catch up on. Right now it is The Last of Us Part II, The Last Guardian, Blood transfusionAnd Spiderman. Let me know in the comments if there’s anything else that’s truly unacceptable that I should pay attention to.

I’m on vacation this weekend, and – don’t kill me, please – I didn’t have my Switch with me. But I brought my Steam Deck with me. Most of the newer games I buy are PC exclusives, so it makes more sense, even though it’s a lot more cumbersome.

I’m going to Banff, which means most of my weekend will hopefully be spent outside, but when I’m not outside, I’ll probably spend some time hanging out. Kill the princess formerly! I’ve been looking forward to playing it for a long time but haven’t had the time. I also just bought Sun Haven to fill the void that has been forming in my heart for farming games for a long time. I hope it’s good!

Somehow it’s June and I’m still immersed in it The unicorn lord. With the final continent under the crushing iron fist of my absolute rule, the endgame is near. It won’t come as a surprise to tell you that I still haven’t conquered the final boss of Prince of Persia: The lost crown so maybe, just maybe this weekend I can put that behind me. I dusted off my 8bitdo arcade stick and was going to play an inhuman amount of games. Restart demon tongue, Astrologer, Ginga Force And Natsuki Chronicles on PC. When that itch hits, you have to scratch it. And on that note…

My game of the week is Detailed information about Macross shooting. So far, this is the definition of “average shmup” by all accounts, but the special physical edition is priced just enough for me to resist. As a huge Macross fan, I confess that this is fan service done right. Sadly, as you might imagine, the streaming-licensed soundtrack is very unfriendly, with copyright notices appearing during every boss fight. Curse you, protoculture!

That’s what we have planned for the weekend, what about you? Fill out the following poll about the game you’ll be playing primarily in the next few days, then slide into the comments section to let us know what other titles are on the cards.
