What will you play this weekend? (May 11)

I’m going holibob this weekend, so to be honest, I probably won’t be playing much; A good book is enough when I lie by the pool.
That said, I’ll jump in Animal well as much as possible before I depart. I haven’t gone very deep into it, but I can definitely see why it’s rated so highly. I can’t wait to dig into it when I get back!

I finished it this weekend Bald Gate with a friend from Canada after months of playing. It’s been an epic ride, but now I’m ready to put the game behind me.
Animal Well has also taken up all my time, so I’ll try to find more of the game’s secrets, because there are many.

Conquest efforts continued The unicorn lord continues, like the game refuses to end despite the steady progress of the past weekend. Duyen dang Little cat, big city the release is just another stark reminder that I should have let a house cat adopt me decades ago. I also really wanted to finish collide story mode. While the premise of simple gameplay has been done before elsewhere, this game is exceptionally well done artistically. It’s a shame I don’t have friends to play this in local vs mode.
My game of the week is Animal Well. If you come across someone saying “Oh, here we go, another indie metroidvania with an 8-bit pixelated aesthetic…” feel free to throw this masterpiece in their face. Plus, possibly the best in-game artillery ever programmed in the history of video games!

I’m still on mine Stardew Valley-with-rock mod. I’m in a state of depression and I don’t need anything too stressful; I just want to turn off my brain and let farming wash over me. I paired it with a rewatch of Bad break, for some reason. It’s a strange feeling and it makes me feel like I’m growing a different crop, but it’s fascinating!
However, I did have a few games on my list from last week! It’s a delicious meal for the indie crowd. I’m procrastinating Hell 2 until the full launch because I don’t like playing EA games – I want the finished product, although I hear H2 has been polished a lot. Also, Animal Well, sounds excellent, and crow landby excellent people who have done it Puppet tower. But first, I had to get over the depression. Wish me luck!
