Which anime should have its next RPG after Fairy Tail 2?
Fairy Tail 2 is a surprising sequel to an underrated turn-based JRPG adaptation of a popular anime and manga series. With the release of this exceptionally huge JRPG, it’s now time to look to the future. We get anime adaptations all the time, but few dive into the RPG genre as much as they would like. Let’s talk about the next anime RPG we’re getting.
There have only been a few modern anime JRPGs recently, from Fairy Tail 2 ARRIVE Dragon Ball Kakarot ARRIVE One Piece Odyssey and so on. This is a trend that needs to continue and there needs to be more game lines. Personally, I’m a little annoyed by all the fighting game adaptations, so here are Siliconera staff’s picks for the next anime RPG.
Siliconera Speaks Out: The New Anime RPG We Want Next
I really want to see one Jujutsu Kaisen JRPG. Yes, I understand why Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash happened. The series would adapt well to a fighting game. But we saw it Inuyasha, BleachAnd Naruto RPG works well. Why not do it with this series? — Jenni
In my opinion, a good turn-based RPG is the best way to adapt most anime series into a game. I feel like a turn-based RPG version of Dr. Stone would be a slightly odd but spectacular choice. Even though it’s post-apocalyptic, it still has some fantasy vibes going on. Additionally, crafting can be an important part of the game as you invent ideas and creations to help society. Plus, the cast can be huge with many different party members to use in battle. Some alternative options for a modern, localized RPG would be Sailor Moon, Hunter x hunterAnd Eighty-six (Strategic RPG). — Cody
