Siliconera Speaks Out: Story about JRPG Remaster we want next

Stories of the abyss is my usual answer to this question simply because it is one of the best Story The game has a story and it’s a shame it’s not available on any modern platforms. However, I would really like to see some old 2D games remade, like reborn or Destiny/Destiny 2. Those games were never officially released in Japan, but I suppose if Bamco remade them today, they would make it available to Western audiences as well. While translation mods for them still exist, it would still be cool if people could get their hands on official versions if they wanted. — Stephanie

Like Stephanie, I wanted to see Fateful story again! I loved that game and that was my entry into the series. Imagine if, somehow, it was almost impossible for a more modern audience to play it and the art direction meant it would still work just fine! And since there’s a PS2 Director’s Cut with content never before seen outside of Japan, it’ll feel fresh for anyone who picks it up! — Jenni

I will never stop asking for one Stories about Xillia 1 And 2 remaster. I got a PS3 quite late in its life and it broke shortly after I bought the original one Xillia’s story. So I never got to play these two games I was so looking forward to. The dual protagonist system and storyline seem to suggest that these two titles could be among my favorites in gaming. Story about series right up there with The story of Berseriabut until now I still don’t know. I hope we get one Stories about Xillia 1 And 2 Dual remaster package follows grace f so that I may finally know what they are. — Cody

Tales of Graces f Remastered currently available for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
