World of Warcraft Skin Arthas got me rolling with another Necromancer in Diablo IV

It’s 3 p.m. now. I was having lunch with friends and my phone vibrated in my pocket. Out of habit, I pulled it out and opened the box to check if I had received an urgent work email. (I do that a lot because I get a lot of emails. It’s part of the job.) Instead, it’s some Discord notifications. I wonder if something happened. Maybe my server has been hacked or if plans for an upcoming event have changed. Pulling down the menu I just saw and @ from another colleague and friend, GC. I groaned as I looked at the picture attached to the message. Another series World of Warcraft The interface has been added to the group Diablo IV costume, and this time Arthas has joined the squad. I already know I will buy leather when I get home.

If you hate video game skins and cosmetics then this article is probably not for you. I’ve more or less come to the bitter realization that I’m the problem when it comes to microtransactions in video games. They are my favorite and sometimes I just want to look cute. I own too much Fortress costumes, although I don’t play this game very often anymore and I don’t even want to reveal how many Necromancer costumes I own in there. Diablo IV. For me, it’s all about the appeal of looking good. Create a character or theme around an aesthetic that is expressed through gameplay. Or my favorite slapping friend World of Warcraft lorbo in the cosmetics store and you will see me sigh, dejected knowing what kind of man I am.

You see, I bought the Invincible mount in the shop, fully aware that I probably wouldn’t be getting Arthas’s immortal steed at Icecrown Citadel anytime soon. ( weekly run of my Death Knight Dreadwyrm set because I wanted to make a “canon” outfit for him. I don’t have that kind of stamina for a mount I won’t use. Because So, I have to buy the Arthas skin. I just need to do that (actually, I don’t need to do that, this is clearly an exaggeration.) Use the little money left in my account , I bought the outfit and launched another Necromancer.

Thankfully, I really enjoyed playing the Necromancer in Diablo IVArthas’ skin is just a great touch. I’m surprised that Necromancers of all classes are given Arthas skins, but who am I to complain. While I had fun playing Spiritborn, the class was an introduction Diablo IV Vessel of Hatredit’s a little too dynamic for me. The same goes for Rogue, my main game during my review of the base game and Season of the Malignant. Necromancer is a nice little class where I can build my army of skeletons and let them wreak havoc on my enemies. I think this is true of Arthas. He killed the vast majority of his subjects, only to turn them into undead and lead them on a bloody conquest of most of the Eastern Continent. But that is neither here nor there.

All I want to say is that I love my skin, I’m happy to have it. I just hate how predictable I am. Yes, I look cool with my Arthas skin and Invincible mount to match. But I’m a big fan of this field, especially now that I’ve gone deeper into it World of Warcraft. Which I love! I also don’t want to buy the other World of Warcraft inspired skins in Diablo IV, since I already own the skin set for Kael’Thalas and the Illidan skin doesn’t look very good. The Rogue doesn’t have the right proportions and the horns mounted on the helmet look really silly. Maybe I’ll get the Garrosh skin, but I don’t play Barbarian.

Currently, I can’t see Blizzard Entertainment managing to convince me to buy another skin in Diablo IV. At least not that fast. Because I more or less got what I wanted. So if you see a Necromancer running around dressed like the Lich King, Arthas Menethil, with a bunch of skeletons in tow. Well, that might just be me.

Diablo IV available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, computerand Xbox Series X. World of Warcraft available on PC.
