In the competitive hotel landscape, Wyndham might not be the first name that comes to mind, but they have some great hotel services and a line of co-branded credit cards to match.
With an annual fee of $75, the Earner Plus card sits right above the entry-level Wyndham Rewards Earner card. Even if you don’t regularly stay at Wyndham hotels, you can still benefit from the card’s automatic elite status and receive redemption discounts.
Recommended credit score for this card is at least 670. However, it is possible to get approved with a lower score.

We previously saw a deal on this card for 75,000 points, so it might be worth waiting for a higher offer if you don’t plan on staying at the Wyndham anytime soon.
It’s important to note that Barclays can be sensitive to demand, so I recommend staying below 24/6 before then. Please apply for this card. In other words, you should have five or fewer hard inquiries on your credit report in the past 24 months before applying for Wyndham Rewards Earner Plus.

Redeem points on the Wyndham Rewards Earner Plus Card
With the Wyndham Earner Plus card, you can redeem your points for stays, gas, airfare, tickets and experiences, gift cardmerchandise, charitable donations, tours and activities, and AARP membership.
The most valuable way to redeem points is to stay at a Wyndham hotel.
Wyndham is one of the few hotel brands that still uses fixed and zero award rankings dynamic pricingmeaning you can still get greater value. Not available power outage day for Wyndham properties.
Wyndham offers two types of redemptions: Go Fast and Go Free. Go Free uses points to set the total room cost, and Go Fast uses a combination of points and cash. Cardholders will receive a 10% discount on all redemptions at Wyndham Go Free hotels.
Go Free reward nights come in three levels: 7,500, 15,000 and 30,000 points per night. Higher-end properties and those booked during peak tourist season will typically cost 30,000 points per night.
Go Fast Awards Night has three tiers, starting at 1,500, 3,000 and 6,000 points per night plus cash.
TPG Senior Points and Miles Writer Katie Genter speak, “[I’ve] used Wyndham points for 15,000 points nights in Hawaii and 7,500 points nights in Korea, including beautiful Jeju Island. I also got great value on redemption when I stayed at Vacasa, although this is now harder to do with the lower cap on the average cost per bedroom over 15,000 nights.”
You can also use your points to book a stay at Wyndham Vacation Club starting at 7,500 points per bedroom per night. As a cardholder, your points can also be used for Caesars Rewards reservations, Vacasa vacation rentals, Landal GreenParks, and reservations on Cottages.com.
Wyndham timeshare owners can use points to cover maintenance fees by converting them into Maintenance Dollars. Caesars properties range from 15,000 to 30,000 Wyndham points per bedroom per night. Sure power outage day apply.
You can only book a Vacasa vacation rental with Wyndham points if the average nightly cost, including all fees, is less than $500. You’ll pay 15,000 points per bedroom per night for rentals with an average nightly price under $250 and 30,000 points per bedroom per night for rentals with an average nightly price of $250 or more. .01 USD to 500 USD.
Transfer points on the Wyndham Rewards Earner Plus Card
Wyndham has a solid airline roster transfer partner. However, you often get better value when you redeem your points for a stay at Wyndham than when you transfer them to a partner.
Wyndham has a total of nine airline transfer partners, including Air Canada aircraft mile, AviancaMiles LifeBorder Airlines Border miles, Miles&Smiles of Turkish Airlines And United MileagePlus mile.
All points are transferred at a 5:1 ratio; you must transfer at least 6,000 points. This means 6,000 Wyndham points is equivalent to 1,200 partner points. Given this transfer rate, I strongly recommend that you avoid using this conversion method.
