YouTube offers a new way for Indian creators to increase their income


YouTube offers a variety of ways for creators to monetize their content. YouTube Shopping in India: How it works

With this new feature, YouTube creators will be able to tag products in their videos. When viewers watch these videos and purchase tagged products through retailer sites, creators can earn commissions from those sales. YouTube India says the feature builds on existing features, such as creators being able to promote their own merchandise by linking their stores directly to their YouTube channels. Surname.

YouTube Shopping in India: Eligibility Criteria

  1. Your channel is in the YouTube Partner Program.
  2. You have over 10,000 subscribers.
  3. You live in the United States, Korea, Indonesia, India, Thailand, or Vietnam.
  4. Your channel is not an official music channel or Artist Channel]
  5. Your channel isn’t set as made for kids and has few or no videos marked as made for kids.

YouTubers can tag products in old videos and live streams

This initiative is designed to increase product visibility and build credibility as viewers can make informed purchases after seeing reviews from their favorite creators. Viewers will also see descriptions of each product and by clicking on them, they will be taken to the product page on Flipkart or Myntra. Additionally, YouTube notes that creators can tag products in older videos and even pin products in live streams, which further expands the shopping experience.
