A taste of luxury in Music City: What it’s like to stay at the Conrad Nashville
In Nashville, hotels come in all shapes and sizes — and Hilton has an incredible (and growing) presence in Tennessee’s capital, from Gorgeous and quirky graduation (where unique décor includes a bust of Dolly Parton made from wire mesh) to the towering Embassy Suites with its panoramic indoor rooftop pool.
On the luxury front, Nashville’s hotel scene is on the move. There’s a new Four Seasons incredibly close to bustling Lower Broadway, the grand and storied Hermitage Hotel (and chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten dine in), and the Conrad, conveniently located centrally near all the action but far enough away that you don’t have to worry about loud bachelor parties disrupting your sleep.
On a recent trip to my old college town (go Bruins!), I checked into the Conrad Nashville to see the Hilton’s take on Music City luxury. This is what it happened.
What is Conrad Nashville?
A part of Hilton Title According to the program, Conrad Nashville is a luxury hotel with 234 rooms and suites located downtown, right near the city’s tourist center. Unlike many hotels in Nashville, this upscale hotel doesn’t lean toward a country aesthetic like many others, so it feels effortlessly elegant and luxurious. It’s home to a stunning lobby with a sleek bar, an upscale restaurant and more casual offerings, a swimming pool, a gym, and meeting spaces.
How much does the Conrad Nashville cost – and how to book this hotel
Nashville is one of those cities where hotel prices can fluctuate wildly throughout the year, depending on what’s going on in town. Cash rates tend to hover between $250 and $300 but can spike during events like CMA Fest. During such events, prices can reach up to $1,000 per night.
Hilton Honors members can book stays starting at around 81,000 points per night, with most nights costing 90,000.

During my three-night stay, I was accommodated in a standard room with a king-size bed and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the West End.

At 410 square feet, the room is spacious and comfortable, giving it a sophisticated yet luxurious feel. It’s furnished with an olive green velvet couch, white granite furniture, a table with two dark green chairs, and various mixed-patterned fabrics that tie it all together. together.

The bed is extremely comfortable and is decorated with Frette linens, while the padded headboard has controls on both sides to turn the lights on and off and open or close the curtains. Integrated in the nightstand are charging ports (USB and USB-C) and standard sockets.
At night, during turndown service, the Conrad’s friendly butlers place a bottle of water, a glass and two delicious cookies on the nightstand, along with the robe on the bed, in a thoughtful way. Nice to remind me that it was there from the beginning.
Along the entrance hallway is a large and long wardrobe system with shopping bags, robes, safe and other accessories such as shoehorns. Next door is a small bar area with an electric kettle, espresso machine, china and glassware, plus a pull-out mini-fridge with soft drinks, juices, beer and lots of small bottles of wine.

In the white granite bathroom, double sinks sit atop a large vanity providing ample space. The toilet is tucked away in a small closet behind a glass door, the shower produces great water pressure, a cute couch, and musky Byredo Mojave Ghost soap.

Completing the comfortable and luxurious room is a 55-inch streaming-capable TV that helps the clashing sounds of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” lull me to sleep.
What I ate and drank at Conrad Nashville
Right outside the lobby of the Conrad Nashville is one of the most beautiful places lounge bar I’ve seen it for a while and it also serves as the bar for the hotel’s upscale restaurant, Blue Astar, which is open for breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner. At the restaurant, guests can expect a menu of locally sourced seasonal dishes, primarily seafood.
For breakfast one morning, I had a bloody mary with Tito’s ($17); avocado toast with slow-roasted tomatoes, salsa verde, arugula, radishes, sourdough and a perfectly poached egg ($22); and a breakfast sausage ($7). The avocado is flavorful and filling, but the Southern-style sausage is the best part.
For dinner, I have some delicious dishes on the menu, including a delicious kanpachi crudo made with Aleppo oil, tahini yogurt, Cara Cara oranges and herbs ($21) that is rich and full of flavor . It’s a dish you might not expect to be served – let alone with such finesse – in Middle Tennesee.
Another standout dish is the Bucksnort salmon fillet served on a bed of fermented tomatoes and Castelvetrano olives and topped with sweet anise.

The second option for dining is Thistle & Rye, a third-floor spot that has a large outdoor area with seating, a fire pit, and a cornhole board. Here, you can enjoy craft cocktails, local beers, and a diverse menu of global street food with a hint of Tennessee, like the Nashville hot cod sandwich ($18) and Japanese sweet potato cake ($14).
Amenities and things to do
Besides friendly service and a nice hotel, here are a few other things the hotel could take advantage of:
- There is a seasonal rooftop pool that offers cabana and lounge chair rentals on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The fitness center features Peloton bikes, treadmills, free weights, other equipment and an indoor-outdoor workout space.
- There are 11 meeting rooms for events.
- The hotel offers Southern-style afternoon tea for $85 per adult and $40 for children every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m.
- Saks Fifth Avenue offers personalized style and hotel shopping by appointment only through The Fifth Avenue Club Nashville.
Insider tips for staying at the Conrad Nashville
Although there aren’t many “secrets” for you to know about this hotel, there are some things in the hotel and in the area you should enjoy:
- The hotel offers a free shoe shine service, which I took advantage of to polish my loafers before my wedding the following week.
- Thistle & Rye offers happy hour Wednesday through Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m., during which you can save a little money on drinks.
- Nearby Tailgate Music Row Brewery is a great place to stop for local beer.
- Also nearby, the Dolly Parton-themed rooftop bar White Limozeen at Graduate Nashville (which Hilton recently acquired) is a must-visit for country music fans, bachelorette parties, and more. or those who just want to bask in the glory of one of the world’s best bars. the best musicians.
Bottom line
Whether you’re a Hilton loyalist or just looking for a nice and comfortable place to stay, the Conrad Nashville is a great hotel, perfect for tourists, businessmen, and everyone in between. Its location is just far enough from the lively and storied bars of Lower Broadway that you can easily get to the party without having to sleep in the middle of it, and its central location makes it a an easy starting point to get to basically anywhere else in the city.
Best of all, a search of Hilton’s flexible booking calendar consistently turns up quite reasonable rates, meaning you can enjoy luxury without breaking the bank.
