Dave The Diver Get a physical conversion release with content in collaboration with Guilty Gear

Arc System Works has announced a North American release date for Diver Dave: The Anniversary Edition has now been delayed until June 28, 2024 “due to production problems”. Here is the full announcement:

Pre-orders for this Japanese physical release Diver Dave is now officially in operation Playasia (Thanks, Nintendo Everything). As noted earlier, this version of the game is region-free and includes support for English and other languages. It will keep you coming back $29.99 (or your equivalent area) and is expected to be delivered on May 30, 2024.

If you are waiting for a hard copy of Diver Daveyou’re lucky… type. Arc System Works today announced a physical “Anniversary Edition” of the game for Switch will launch on May 30, 2024.
As part of this collaboration, the game will add some content from the fighting game Guilty Gear strives. This includes themed graphics of the boat and customers wearing themed outfits. There’s also a rhythm game that gives you access to the song “The Disaster of Passion.” It’s worth mentioning that this isn’t Dave’s first collaboration, as he’s previously collaborated on Godzilla and games like dredging.
If you buy this version of the game early, you’ll get some special sticker sheets and a soundtrack CD featuring music by Dave The Diver. This version will apparently also support English and other languages. If we hear any updates on a local release, we’ll let you know.
