Days of Play celebration begins on May 29 – PlayStation.Blog

It’s another exciting year for PlayStation fans as Days of Play 2024 kicks off this week! This year’s Days of Play activities are bigger than ever with challenges, hardware and game deals, content offerings, and more.

We started this global tradition seven years ago to honor you, our passionate PlayStation community, for your unwavering support. We’re excited to give you more reasons to play, with special Days of Play activities appearing on PlayStation Plus, PlayStation Stars, PlayStation Store and retailers. Days of Play celebrations run from 12:01 a.m. on May 29 to 11:59 p.m. on June 12 local time in each region.

To mark this special occasion, we’re giving away new avatars to all PlayStation players throughout Days of Play. Starting May 29, players can access avatars commemorating some of the popular titles that will be made available through PlayStation Plus during Days of Play. You can find them on PlayStation Plus website or visit the PlayStation Plus Days of Play page on your PS5 or PS4 console to get a coupon code. These PlayStation Plus avatars are free for all PlayStation players to redeem. Stay tuned for more free avatars in Days of Play.

Below is an overview of activities to look out for in Days of Play. You can also check the Days of Play 2024 website regularly starting tomorrow, May 29 for updates on activities in your local area.

PLAYSTATION PLUS CONTENT PROVIDED

We wanted to share with you some great news about the PlayStation Plus deals available during the Days of Play celebration, including bonus titles in the Games Catalog, PS VR2 titles, New PS2 etc. Let’s see below.

Monthly games for June

(Available to all PlayStation Plus members on June 4 as part of our monthly offers)

To start, here’s the monthly game lineup on PlayStation Plus for June.

Also, I just wanted to quickly mention that EA Sports FC 24 (part of the May Monthly Games line) will be available until June 17, so you still have time to redeem this title if you have not done so.

On June 3, all PlayStation Plus members will also be able to download a Roblox Bundle that includes an avatar for Felix Freezebeard the Yeti.

Bonus titles for Game Catalog, Classic Catalog, PS VR2 and Game Trials

PLAY ACTIVITY DAY

During Days of Play, we want you to participate in all the activities we have planned to give you unique rewards for playing. Below are some of the activities planned for this year’s celebration. You can find more details about the activities you can take part in on the Days of Play 2024 website.

Days of Play Community Challenge***

We’re bringing three exciting new challenges in which PlayStation players will work together to achieve community goals to unlock exclusive PlayStation Stars rewards. PlayStation Plus members will receive unique rewards for joining.

PlayStation Stars Campaign***

We’ll have special PlayStation Stars Campaigns during Days of Play with new Digital Collections to earn. Be on the lookout for a new display case to display your Digital Collection.

There will also be exclusive PlayStation Stars Campaigns for PlayStation Plus members to look forward to, focusing on titles available through PlayStation Plus during Days of Play, such as Dredge and EA Sports FC 24.

Esports tournament for PlayStation Plus members

For PlayStation Plus members, there will be a brand new event from the PlayStation Tournament: Days of Play Cup for EA Sports FC 24. PlayStation Plus members and EA Sports FC 24 fans will have the opportunity to play Show your skills on the field and reap the rewards of success.

The fun begins with the qualifiers — which take place from June 1 to June 9. Qualifier participants will receive the PlayStation Stars EA Sports FC 24 Digital Collection and the PlayStation FC 24 Kit in game only when participating. The winner will receive a one-month PlayStation Plus Deluxe voucher code and an invitation to the Playoffs. From there, the top 16 finishers in the Playoff Round will win FC Points or share in a $1500 cash prize.

PLAYSTATION OFFER

Existing members can get 25% off PlayStation Plus Extra or save 30% on PlayStation Plus Deluxe for the remainder of their membership when they upgrade their membership between 29 months June 5 to 12.**
