Details of the camera system and damage during the Metal Gear Solid Delta battle


After revealing one new game trailer during Xbox Game Showcase 2024, Konami provided new details on the Battle Damage system as well as the new camera modes available in the upcoming Xbox Game Showcase 2024. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.

New information appears in Official website for the game and it addresses how the Battle Damage system will now affect the wear and tear on Naked Snake’s clothing as players advance through Virtue Missions and Snake Eater Campaigns. Likewise, any wound Snake receives will leave various scars and permanent marks on his body after healing.

About the camera system, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will allow players to use a new third-person perspective. This camera system is similar to the one introduced in Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D A version of the game appears on the Nintendo 3DS. Additionally, the overhead view inheritance style will also be available. At the time of writing, it’s unclear whether you’ll be able to swap between both camera systems on the go.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater currently in development for PS5, Xbox Series X and PC. The original version of the game is available as part of the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. firstcurrently available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and PC.
