Donald Trump sit down with Fox and friends for an exclusive interview following the announcement of his guilty verdict.

According to The Shade Room, the former president was was convicted of 34 serious crimes of falsifying records after paying off adult entertainer Stormy Daniels before his 2016 presidential campaign.

Donnie shared his thoughts on his recent conviction in an exclusive interview with co-hosts Pete Hegseth, Will Cain and Rachel Campos-Duffy, airing on Sunday, June 2 . He told reporters that the trial could have started years ago, but he believes the jury wants to move it forward before the 2024 presidential election.

“There has never been a case of a state dropping out after a federal election. Southern District refused, we were allowed by the FEC, the Federal Election Commission, allowed! They’re suing saying we violated that, but they let us. But the accusation was written and I mean it was a strange accusation,” Trump said.

When speaking about the hush money trial, Trump also stated that he was not afraid of going to jail or under house arrest.

“I’m fine with it. The other day I saw one of my lawyers say on television, ‘Oh no, you don’t want to do that to the president.’ I told you, don’t beg for anything. I don’t think the public will tolerate that. I’m not sure the public would support that. I think it will be difficult for the public to accept, you know, at a certain point, there will be a breaking point,” Mr. Trump said.

While awaiting sentencing, Trump maintained that he did not commit any crime. Based on CNNhe also mentioned his wife, the former first lady, Melania Trump and her thoughts on the upcoming trial.

“I’m fighting for the Constitution. She’s fine, but I think it’s very difficult for her. I mean, she’s fine. But you know, she has to read all this crap,” Donald said.

Donald Trump was found guilty of all charges against him on Thursday (May 30).

Along with the hush money trial, Trump also faces three other legal battles. They include a federal election interference case in Washington, DC, a state election interference case in Georgia, and a federal case alleging mishandling of classified documents and national security information.

Now that the trial is over, Judge Mercan has scheduled Trump’s sentencing for July 11. This date comes days before the Republican Party’s official nomination for the 2024 presidential election.

Trump did not hesitate to comment on his indictment after the trial. He declared himself innocent and told reporters he believed the trial was “rigged.”

“This is a disgrace – this is a rigged trial conducted by a corrupt, conflicted judge. This is a rigged trial, a disgrace. They won’t let us change locations, we’re only at five percent or six percent in this district, in this area. This is a fraudulent and disgraceful trial. The real verdict will be given by the people on November 5, and they know what happened here, and everyone knows what happened here…We did nothing wrong, I am a very innocent person. And that’s okay. I’m fighting for our country, I’m fighting for our constitution. Our entire country is being rigged right now. This was done by the Biden administration to hurt or hurt a political opponent and I think it’s just a disgrace.”
