Ryan realizes the truth about the Gypsy’s breakup

In an exclusive interview with E! News, Ryan Anderson explains why he and Gypsy Rose decided to call it quits. Anderson told E! News reporter Francesca Amiker said he still couldn’t comprehend how quickly things had changed.

“I have some ideas. Personally, I think outside influences were involved. And I don’t want to pinpoint it yet because I’m still processing it. but when I go to work her mind rebels. And I’m still trying to figure out why it happened so quickly?”

During the interview, Ryan also shared his thoughts on Gypsy reconnecting with her fiancé and current boyfriend, Ken Urker. He admitted that their matching tattoos brought him to the point of despair.

“It’s difficult to see things unfold in public like that. You know, there were some things that happened that really impressed me. I mean, it really affected me. Matching tattoos really attracted me. That’s what really hurt me. It’s one of those things you always look down and see. It’s one of those things you can’t erase.”

As Anderson continued to reflect on his relationship with Gypsy, he further explained that he felt blindsided by the breakup.

“That’s my thing, when I say I was really blind, I was blind to the speed at which things were happening. It’s like a snowball and I can’t stop it. It’s just one of those places where it’s going to continue to grow.”

As The Shade Room previously reported, Gypsy Rose and Ryan Anderson were married in a small prison ceremony in July 2022. However, in March, EVERYBODY reported that the couple had decided to break up. Gypsy has officially confirmed this information on Facebook. She then filed for divorce on April 8.

The couple’s split comes just three months after Gypsy was released from Missouri’s Chillicothe Correctional Center, where she served more than eight years in prison for conspiring with her then-boyfriend. Nicholas “Nick” Godejohn to kill her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.

Even though they have decided to break up, fans will get a chance to see Ryan and Gypsy’s love story unfold in her new Lifetime series, ‘Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up’. The show will also give viewers an insight into her rekindling romance with current boyfriend, Ken Urker.

Gypsy and Ken started as pen pals while she was in prison. However, the duo officially reconnected in April when Gypsy married Ryan. In an interview with EVERYBODYThe former prisoner told the newspaper that Ken has always been her true love.

“I can say Ken was my first love because that’s when I really felt like an adult love. It is not based on a fantasy. It’s really based on the connection that two people have for each other,” Gypsy explained.
