Great welcome offer

- Hilton points are extremely valuable in MexicoEgypt, Malaysia and some South American countries, incl resort in Oman and Egypt.
- Take advantage of Thursday night free, the benefit of Diamond status, anytime you can. This is overlooked too often.
If I get the Amex Aspire card, the welcome offer will be just the start of growing my Hilton Honors balance significantly. With the bonus spending categories discussed below, you should aim for a few hundred thousand points and then look to make a great international trip with the strategies above.
Hilton Honors diamond status
I believe there is a right way and a wrong way to maximize your top hotel status, like Hilton Diamond powered by Aspire card. I usually accidentally mishear a few times a year at the Hilton hotel check-in desk. It sounds like, “But I’m a Diamond member, I get the suite available” or “I’m a Diamond member, I get the 4pm late check-out.”
Both statements demonstrate a lack of understanding of Hilton Diamond’s benefits or the wrong way to maximize top status. They are also rude and often do not get employees to comply with your requests.

There is no guaranteed path to room upgrades or late checkout as a Hilton Diamond. Subject to terms and conditions“Late check-out must be requested and is subject to availability.”
To maximize Diamond status, read all the benefits, including the fine print. The most important benefits are access to the Executive Lounge, free breakfast (at participating category brands this can be difficult), 48-hour room guarantees (also not really guaranteed depending on arbitrarily determined high-demand periods), and Reward Points.
Free night certificate
Longing Cardholders can receive up to three reward night certificates. You receive a reward night certificate to use at almost any Hilton hotel worldwide after account opening and on your card membership anniversary year.
Get your second reward night certificate when you spend $30,000 on the Aspire card in a calendar year, and your third reward night certificate when you spend $60,000 in a calendar year.
Frequent travelers can take advantage of this benefit and can save hundreds of dollars each year. The best part is, as long as the property qualifies and has availability, you can book with some exceptions.
