“I’m not a celebrity…I’m a trauma survivor”


Blanchard Gypsy Rose is denouncing her celebrity status! In fact, she recently made it clear that she is a “trauma survivor” and not a mass entertainer.

From she was released early released from prison in December 2023, there is much interest in the 32-year-old’s personal life. She served seven of her ten years in prison for her role in orchestrating the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.

Now, she is making it clear that she is a survivor in her own time!

“Don’t ask me to soothe your wounds because of your personal curiosity, don’t ask for answers to questions unrelated to your life, don’t expect me to overcome my past before you, don’t tell me about my mistakes and choices when I’m the one who has to live with them consciously, don’t project what you want me to be because you find that more interesting ,” she wrote on TikTok, per TMZ. “I am NOT a celebrity. I AM a trauma survivor recovering from emotional, mental, and medical abuse.

To understand the context, a few days after its debut, Gypsy joined social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. Because of her public profile, thousands of people have followed her movements, from her relationship with husband Ryan Scott Anderson to her filed for divorce, rekindle with ex-fiancee Ken Urker, and even her new nose job!

So, according to celebrity expectations and constant criticism, Gypsy Rose is not here for them.

“I shared my story in hopes it would educate about Munchausen by proxy and inspire other survivors, only to have my abuse invalidated by the content creators above. social networks, who do not have any psychological education to substantiate their claims despite having many specialized psychiatrists. at MBP such as Dr. Marc Feldman, who was interviewed for HBO’s ‘Mommy Dead and Dearest’ in 2017, after reviewing the medical records obtained for my case. According to National Library of Medicine, Munchausen by proxy is a disorder characterized by fabricating or causing signs or symptoms of disease. Throughout her childhood, Gypsy’s mother subjected her to drugs, put her in a wheelchair, and forced her to use a feeding tube even though Rose had little need for it.

At the age of 32, Gypsy said she was “CUREING” and did not want anyone to “ask” [her] to support.”

This is not the first time she has appeared on social networks. Earlier this year, she temporarily shut down her public social accounts, calling them “the door to hell.”
