Milestones Taito 3 Coming Winter 2024, First Game Series Revealed

Last year it was revealed Taito 3 milestones is on its way to Switch and has now been confirmed that it will arrive locally on the eShop in Wburial 2024.

The third retro collection will feature “over seven classic Taito games” from the late 1980s to early 1990s. Hamster Corporation, known for its Arcade series, has once again teamed up with Taito for this version.

Here are the games revealed so far, with more to be revealed “later this summer” (via PR):

Bubble Bobble (1986)
Experience a blast from the past in the original 2-player co-op arcade version of Bubble Bobble! Use Bubby and Bobby’s bubble-blowing powers to travel through 100 floors of monsters to rescue their girlfriends!

Rainbow Islands: The Story of Bubble Bobble 2 (1987)
Play as Bubby and Bobby in human form! Instead of blowing bubbles, rule with rainbows when you reach your goals! Fight monsters and your archenemy, the Dark Boss, to save the residents of the Rainbow Islands who have been captured by your archenemy!

Rastan Saga (1987)
In this action platform game, follow the journey of Rastan the Thief, in a story set before he became king, as he sets out at the Princess’s behest to defend the kingdom of Ceim. Fight enemies along the way and defeat the giant dragon with various items and weapons such as fire swords, hammers or axes!

Cadash (1989)
Princess Sarasa, the peace symbol of the naturally prosperous and wealthy Deezar, has been kidnapped. Choose between a warrior, mage, priest or ninja to defeat monsters, collect loot and enhance your equipment to defeat the evil Baarogue in this 2-player co-op action RPG This classic!

Champion Wrestler (1989)
Fight in the ring for 8 rounds to become the champion. Use technical moves such as aerial techniques and submissions in ring brawls and the use of deadly weapons! The action never stops! Play together in tag team matches or go against each other 1v1, either way, this couch co-op game promises plenty of wrestling action.

Runark (1990)
This iconic beat-em-up game features co-op for up to 4 players! Play as a team of rangers tasked with saving animals from evil poachers. Destroy bad guys by any means possible; Use hand-to-hand combat or weapons like knives and rocket launchers! SHBROOM!

Thunder Fox (1990)
A running and shooting action game released for arcades in 1990! Play as the anti-terrorist team Thunder Fox to destroy a terrorist organization. Drive tanks, drive autos and fly marine jets and defeat enemies on your way to the terrorist base!
