Nikki Haley wrote “Finish them” on Israeli artillery shells


Nikki Haley is facing criticism after writing “Complete them…” on an Israeli artillery shell during a recent visit to Israel.

Reuters reports that the politician not only wrote the controversial message but also allowed an Israeli politician to post the receipts on social media.

Nikki Haley’s controversial message

Former United Nations ambassador Danny Danon took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share viral images. In the photo, Haley, 52 years old, squats in front of artillery shells. Haley used a marker to write, “Let them be fulfilled – America THE HEART OF Israel, Always.”

In an earlier tweet, Danon shared that he visited “site of massacre in southern Israel” with Haley. He said that Haley “talk about the strong support of the American people to continue fighting until Hamas is completely destroyed…”

Furthermore, Danon posted a video with Haley saying, “What I say to all Israelis: America is with you. Americans are with you – 1,200 people were brutally murdered. Let us not forget what happened on October 7.” She added, “Because Hamas has said they will do it again. We owe it to him to make sure it never happens again.

Nikki Haley appears to respond to the backlash

On Wednesday, May 29, Haley seemed to respond to all the backlash. She posted on X:

“Israel did not start this war – Hamas did. Families in southern Israel woke up on October 7 as 3,000 Hamas militants brutalized Israelis.” She added, “Thousands of Palestinian civilians followed, engaging in acts of destruction, looting and violence.”

“Israel must do whatever is necessary to protect its people from evil” She declared. Haley reminded Americans to never forget that as Hamas chanted “Death to Israel,” they also repeat, “Death to America,” Nikki wrote. “Israel is fighting America’s enemies” she argued.

Former Human Rights Watch executive director Kenneth Roth has publicly criticized Haley. He took to Twitter to share his thoughts, stating, “Why don’t you sign? I support Israel’s war crimes.”

Additionally, human rights group Amnesty International released a statement stating, “Conflict is no place for dangerous stunts. Conflict has rules. Civilians must be protected.”

Basic details: The Israel-Hamas war is ongoing

The Israel-Hamas war is a point of contention for American lawmakers. by President Joe Biden open support of Israel has sparked protests at universities across the country.

The destruction in Palestine was devastating. The Palestinian local health ministry reported that the death toll was more than 36,000. Additionally, almost its entire population of 2.3 million was displaced.

Last week, Israel was ordered by the World Court Stop attacking Rafah. The emergency ruling was made after South Africa accused Israel of committing genocide. Their position was supported in the landmark decision. However, Israel denies this allegation.

They insisted they were acting in self-defense. Hamas attacked Israel on October 7 and is believed to have killed about 1,200 people in the attack and taken 250 hostages.

In the past 24 hours, Israeli shelling and airstrikes have killed at least 37 people, according to AP news agency. Most of them are sheltering in tents outside the city of Rafah in southern Gaza. Five days earlier, strikes caused a deadly fire in the same area where displaced Palestinians were living.

The Hell’s tent has drawn widespread international outrage, including from some of Israel’s closest allies, over the army’s expanding offensive on Rafah. And in a sign of Israel’s growing isolation on the world stage, Spain, Norway and Ireland officially recognition of a Palestinian state on Tuesday.

The United Nations agency assisting Palestinian refugees said Tuesday that Israel’s offensive on Rafah, launched on May 6, has caused more than 1 million people to flee the city. Most have been displaced multiple times over nearly eight months war between Israel and Hamas. The family is now scattered everywhere makeshift tents and other war-torn areas.
