Random: The unofficial Legend Of Zelda NES Remake has a 20-minute gameplay video


If you’re longing for an official remake of the original The Legend of Zelda on the NES, you’ll likely have to wait quite a while. Luckily, you can at least ease your pain by checking out the unofficial remake’s latest gameplay video from fans. Lloyd is blank (Thank, wccftech). It’s been out for a while at this point, but hey, it’s never too late to highlight excellent projects like this.

Lasting just over 20 minutes, the video introduces the game from the beginning, albeit with some interesting changes in structure and dialogue. Link will no longer receive the sword from the Old Man; instead, you need to venture into the basement and solve some simple puzzles before you can arm yourself.

Empty has been working on the remake for a few years at this point, so it’s especially cool to be able to look back at some of his older videos and see how much the project has progressed and developed. any. Looking at the more detailed details, Empty used Unreal Engine for this project along with tools like FMOD, Blender, and Gimp. In an effort to avoid Nintendo’s wrath, Empty has also clarified that the game will not be released as a playable demo, so people will just have to get used to the video for now.
