Southwest Airlines launched an attractive discount just in time Cyber Monday. Southwest is offering up to 30% off flights for travel throughout the continental United States, plus Puerto Rico and Hawaii, among other destinations. International routes are also eligible.
Use code “CYBERSALE” until Thursday, December 5, 2024 to get 30% off travel through March 5, 2025 for domestic routes and May 22, 2025 for destinations to Hawaii, Puerto Rico and internationally.

Model flight
Use Southwest’s Low Fare Calendar with promo codes applied to search for the route you want. I did a quick search for flights from California to Hawaii. I wouldn’t say there are a ton of deals available, but I did find some discount days using cash or The reward is quick to the southwest point. Here is the fare schedule for January and February flights from Long Beach to Maui. You’ll save about $126 on this $356 round-trip flight.
You can also book similarly discounted flights with points. A round-trip flight that would normally cost you nearly 35,000 Express Rewards points can be purchased on sale for 24,395 Express Rewards points plus $11.20 in taxes and fees.
Here’s another example of a flight from Oakland to Honolulu. You can book round-trip flights for as little as 23,231 Express Rewards points or $351.89.

This discount applies to both cash and points bookings for Southwest flights and is valid for travel through early March for the continental United States and through most of May for Puerto Rico, Hawaii and international travel. Book before Thursday to save.
