The movie House of the Dead is in production
A Hollywood film adaptation of the classic Sega video game House of the dead is in production process. Paul W.S. Anderson, the creator behind Demons reside series, working on it as director, producer and writer.
Fans of horror movies and games (and horror movies based on such games) may be familiar with the name Anderson. As mentioned earlier, he worked on Demons reside movies—films starring Milla Jovovich—in key positions. For example, he wrote, directed and produced Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. The only ones he doesn’t direct are doomsday And Extinction. Other manufacturers will work House of the dead Along with Anderson are Jeremy Bolt, Toru Nakahara (Sega), Dimitri M. Johnson, Mike Goldberg and Dan Jevons. The last three come from Kitchen Story. Timothy I. Stevenson will serve as executive producer.
So far there haven’t been any details about it House of the dead movie. The film will run about 90 minutes and will focus on the characters trying to escape from the official house. The press release describes Anderson’s vision as one that immerses audiences in an experience akin to the original game’s thrill ride.
House of the dead debuted on arcades in 1997, featuring a gun-shaped controller with which you could pick up and shoot enemies. During the game, the camera will pan over the zombies. The player must destroy all enemies in the area before it passes to the next enemy, and there are boss battles that you must overcome before being able to beat the game. There are different endings depending on how well you do. The final entry in this series is House of the Dead: Remakelaunching in 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Windows PC and Nintendo Switch.
