The upcoming Dead Cells animation looks a lot funnier than we expected

Last year, it was announced that animation studio Bobbypills would be adapting the hugely popular Metroidvania. Dead cells into an animated television series.

After quite a long wait, we now have the first official trailer for the upcoming film, which is officially titled Dead cells: Immortal, and it seems, quite interesting! The 10-episode series will premiere in France via Animation Digital Network on the day June 19, 2024. An English dub and worldwide release will follow later this year, but for now, you can watch the subtitles on the trailer above and still get a feel for the story.
