Will Smith talks about finding happiness after reaching the “cliff top” of life
Will Smith was just 22 years old when ‘Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air’ became a household name. Smith is now 55 years old and has more than 30 years of Hollywood success on his resume. He’s made millions from his acting skills and he’s – hopefully – ready to do it again with ‘Bad Boys: Ride Or Die’.

During the press tour to launch the film, Will shared about the feeling of finding happiness again after achieving all his dreams when appearing on ‘Submit full Podcast.’ The opposite of “rock bottom” is what he calls “cliff top.”
“There will be no more sex than a perverse move. There’s no more money. You know, there’s no more success and it’s a great abyss,” Will Smith shared on the ‘Full Send’ podcast.
People often reach that “cliff top” after doing “everything they wanted to do.” In a sense, they “drain the joy of this world.” When that happens, the difficulties begin.
“Enjoy the joys of this world, and one night you’ll have a really rough night, and you’ll lie there alone, and nothing will make sense. anything with you,” he said.

The actor shares his path to regaining joy
So how does one come back from the cliff top and its abyss?
Will says it is necessary to first reach the peak and realize any remaining unhappiness. Then, humans must realize that the universe “not created for you to run out of stuff.” Once one accepts that perspective, he added, the real inner work begins.
“…You realize that the final frontier is to rearrange your inner order, right? Without women, without drugs, without money, without anything, can you cultivate a spirit of joy with just you and you?” Will shared.
He called the reverse internal work “amazing.” It is also involved in a detoxification process. In the process, Will Smith claims that a person can realize that the monster that prevents them from being happy is the same monster that helps them achieve their dreams.
“All that longing, all that scratching, all that scratching… and then you have to get used to it, man. And you realize that ecstasy is not happiness, peace is happiness, balance,” Will said.
Although inner work is a solo process, Smith also keeps a few survivors by his side during such moments. To the surprise of no one, his wife of over 25 years, Jada Pinkett Smith, might be number one on the list.
