Apple may not introduce any hardware at WWDC 2024 with AI, iOS 18 in focus
Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024 will kick off next week, June 10, with several major announcements related to artificial intelligence (AI). While there were speculations about the launch of the new generation Apple TV, it now looks like AI and iOS 18 will steal the show. Expected announcements of WWDC 2024
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reportApple has no intention of launching any hardware products, including the new generation Apple TV. Gurman said, “No hardware is expected to be announced at WWDC unless Apple suddenly previews a new device launching later (to be clear: I don’t expect that).” Previously, it was predicted that the next Apple TV could be equipped with a fast processor with some price changes. However, now WWDC 2024 will mainly focus on software improvements and AI innovations for this year. Therefore, the entire set may include announcements related to iOS 18’s AI features.

Over the past few months, we have been hearing about Apple partnering with leading tech giants like Google, OpenAI, and Baidu to leverage their AI ecosystems or models. As of now, the company has not made any major announcements related to WWDC 2024. So, we may get some surprise announcements.

WWDC 2024 is expected to announce AI-powered Siri, which is expected to perform complex tasks and it can also be integrated with built-in iOS apps. Furthermore, the new operating system may include a customizable Home screen and a redesigned iPhone interface. Furthermore, Apple may also make announcements related to MacOS, VisionOS 2, etc. for its upcoming devices.
