Bilt Rental Day (June): Quizzes, bonus points, and free rentals

Good news for Bilt Rewards member: June 1st is another Bilt Rent Day.

Like previous Rental Days, you can play trivia to earn Bilt Points and win double points on non-rental purchases. But this Rent Day, Bilt will also offer 5 or 10 bonus points for every dollar spent at Neighborhood Dining restaurants, a “collection of restaurants in select cities where Bilt members will earn points when they pay for a meal with a qualifying card to their Bilt account.” ,” based on Bilt website. Best of all, these bonus points are on top of your regular credit card rewards.

The Bilt Rewards program is free to join and you don’t need one Mastercard® card (see exchange rates and fees) to participate in most Rent Day offers. Here’s what you need to know about June’s Bilt Rental Day.

Bonus points at Neighborhood Dining restaurants

You’ll want to link a few credit cards to your Bilt account to take advantage of this latest Rental Days promotion. Doing so will earn you 5 or 10 bonus points per dollar spent at Neighborhood Dining restaurants on June 1. These bonus points are in addition to your regular card rewards, which include also double the Rental Day points if you use it MasterCard (cardholder must use the card five times per statement period to accumulate points; see rewards and benefits).

Bilt Platinum and Gold members will earn 10 bonus points per dollar, while Silver and Blue members will earn 5 bonus points per dollar. If you want to earn bonus points at a Neighborhood Dining restaurant on June 1st, visit the Bilt app to activate this offer, go to the “Neighborhood” tab to book a restaurant on June 1st, enjoy your meal and then pay with the card linked to your Bilt account.

If you’re good at trivia, you can increase your free Bilt Rewards balance every Rental Day.

Bilt offers its members five trivia questions through its app every Rental Day. The questions gradually increase in difficulty and value. The first question is worth 10 points, the second question is worth 20 points, the third question is worth 30 points, the fourth question is worth 40 points, and the fifth question is worth 50 points.

If you answer all five questions correctly, Bilt will unlock a sixth question worth an additional 100 points. You can earn 250 Bilt points through quizzes each Rental Day if you answer all six questions correctly.

Additional Bilt Points on non-lease purchases

Like previous Bilt Rental Days, you’ll earn double the points when you use it MasterCard to make non-rental purchases between midnight EDT June 1 and 2:59 a.m. EDT June 2. You will earn the following on purchases each Rental Day:

Eat and drink: 6 points per dollar (this stacks with the 5 or 10 bonus points per dollar you can earn at Neighborhood Dining restaurants this Rental Day)
Tourism: 4 points per dollar
Other purchases (excluding rent): 2 points per dollar
Rent: 1 point per dollar (up to 100,000 points in a calendar year)

You can earn up to 10,000 bonus points on purchases with your Bilt Mastercard every Rental Day. However, you must use the card five times per statement period to accumulate points (see rewards and benefits).

SoulCycle ride rental date

Bilt will resume its Rent Day SoulCycle rides on June 1. These rides are 45 minutes long and provide full-body indoor cycling workouts.

Bilt members can enjoy free bike Rent Day Ride classes at more than 50 locations on a first-come, first-served basis when they book a ride through the Bilt app. Demand is often high so you may not be able to find any free bikes that can be reserved. But you should check out nearby classes if interested. If you have a trip booked, your card may be charged $30 if you don’t show up or cancel the trip.

Bilt is also offering up to $2,500 to a rider participating in the Rent Day Ride class in June to cover their monthly rental.

Rent games for free

In August 2023, Bilt launched a new way to win a month’s free rent (up to $2,500): the “Family Feud”-style Rent Free game show. Bilt has since offered a Rent Free game show every Rent Day, with a new creator or character playing each month. This month, the guest is YouTuber, influencer, and singer Chase Hudson.

A few months ago, Bilt changed the way the Rent Free game works. You’ll now earn points when you pick the top three answers, when you rate the answer correctly, and when famous guests choose the same answer as you.

Visit the Bilt app to play before June 1 at 3pm EDT. Then come back to the app after June 1 at 4pm EDT to watch the creator or personality play and see your score. The 10 highest scoring players will be the June Rental Day winners, and the next 600 highest scoring members will earn Bilt points. If you tie with another Bilt member, the tie will be broken based on who played the game first.

History of Rent Day promotions

Bilt offers at least one special promotion each Rental Day in addition to the standard Rental Day offers. For June’s Rent Days, Bilt offered the Rent Days Brunch experience in four cities, and you can still earn 5 or 10 bonus points per dollar spent at Neighborhood Dining restaurants.

Here’s a summary of the promotions we’ve seen on previous Rental Days:

May 2024: Bilt members can book family-style dining experiences to enjoy with other Bilt members at nearby restaurants in eight cities. Additionally, Bilt members receive 100% of their points back (minimum 1,000 points and maximum 50,000 points) toward the Bilt Home Collection when redeeming points for a rental between April 25 and April 1 May.
April 2024: Bilt members can enjoy fitness experiences at local studios across the country; buy one, get one fitness class deal; and the opportunity to purchase new fitness equipment.
March 2024: Bilt members can book tickets to men’s college basketball games as Bilt Experiences. Additionally, Bilt members voted to adopt a unique exclusion framework for March Rent Day benefits. The ability to earn 1,000 points for linking a new credit card (up to two cards) to an earned Bilt Card tab, plus the chance to earn 5 points per dollar at grocery stores (valued at up to 2,000 points) when paying with Bilt Mastercard comes in second.
February 2024: Bilt offered reservations for several Valentine’s Day dinners and status-based transfer rewards for Air Canada Aeroplan.
January 2024: Bilt has brought back some of the program’s top Rent Days promotions, including a $5 Lyft credit for Bilt cardholders, a 50% Amazon redemption bonus, and a transfer bonus based on on status for IHG One Rewards, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Air France-KLM Flying Blue.
December 2023: Bilt offers special tasting experiences in New York City for cardholders on December 1, get extra points at Bilt Dining restaurants from November 24 to December 1, and double points on purchases which would normally earn 1 point per dollar from November 23 to November 23 November 27.
November 2023: Bilt offers special Bilt Experiences at select restaurants and status-based transfer rewards for Emirates Skywards.
October 2023: Bilt launched Bilt Experiences at three professional football games and offered 5 points per dollar on qualifying sports tickets (up to 10,000 bonus points).
September 2023: Bilt has expanded its Rent Day Rides program to every SoulCycle studio across the US, with 10 free bikes per class. For the September 1 Rent Day, Bilt also paid one month’s rent (up to $2,500) for one rider in each Rent Day Ride class.
August 2023: There is a 75% to 150% transfer bonus for Virgin Red based on your Bilt status level as of August 1.
July 2023: You can activate a $10 Lyft ride credit if you’re a Bilt member without a Bilt Mastercard or a $20 Lyft ride credit if you have a Bilt Mastercard before the end of July 1. Additionally, you can Get an additional $5 credit if you activate the offer, have Bilt selected as your active Lyft loyalty partner, and were using Lyft on July 1st.
June 2023: Everyone wins a giveaway of Bilt points, points to use toward the Bilt Collection, Lyft ride credits, free rentals, or roundtrip bonus flights when they solve the Rent Day Challenge puzzle June 1.
May 2023: There is a 100% transfer bonus for Air France-KLM Flying Blue on 1 May.
April 2023: Bilt members can apply between March 28 and April 1 to achieve World of Hyatt Explorer status for 90 days and then maintain Explorer status until February 2025 by Stay 10 qualifying nights from April 17 to July 16. Additionally, members can unlock Globalist status through February 2025 by staying 20 qualifying nights from April 17 to July 16. Bilt is also hosting members-only social events at three Hyatt properties on April 1.
March 2023: You can get a 50% redemption bonus on Amazon purchases on March 1, plus an additional 50% off all Bilt Collection items on March 1.
February 2023: You can get a 100% transfer bonus to HawaiianMiles on February 1. Bilt also launched an exclusive 5-piece capsule collection with SoulCycle.
January 2023: Bilt introduced trivia with Rent Day: Bilt gave its members 10 trivia questions, each worth 50 points, and an additional question worth 100 points if you answered all 10 correctly asked on January 1.
December 2022: You can get a 100% transfer bonus on IHG One Rewards on December 1 and double points on non-rent spending between 12:01 a.m. PST on November 25 and 11 :59 p.m. PST on December 1.
November 2022: Bilt members can sign up for the free United Airlines Premier status challenge from October 27 to November 1. Bilt Blue members can earn Premier Silver, while Bilt Silver members , Gold and Platinum can receive Premier Gold. Premier status is good for 120 days, but you can extend your status through January 31, 2024 by receiving 1,000 Premier qualifying points and 4 Premier qualifying flights for Premier Silver and 2,000 PQP and 6 PQF for Premier Gold.
October 2022: Bilt launched Rent Days with double points on non-rent spending and themed SoulCycle Rent Day rides on October 1st.
